People over profit. Accessibility first. Participation on clear terms.
Loptr Lab is a pre-seed, people-over-profit, accessibility-first venture working toward a self-sustaining model inside a capitalist economy. This mission governs the ecosystem: our creative projects, games, learning resources, creator tools and Made Sick community work. We are building to make meaningful change for people.

What participation means today
You can explore our public projects, learn from the development record, report an accessibility barrier or propose a contribution that fits your interests and capacity. Participation can involve storytelling, design, development, research, documentation or testing.
Start through Bluesky or the relevant project’s GitHub repository. Expressing interest does not authorize us to publish your story, list you in a directory or announce you as a collaborator. Any tool that publishes a public record requires its own publication decision.
Before contribution or testing work begins, we agree in writing on:
- the task and expected time
- accessibility needs and ways to participate
- who will review the work or feedback
- what will be public and what rights are requested
- whether and how you want credit
Participation is currently voluntary and unpaid. We are looking for people who share the mission and want to contribute, learn or take the next step in their own creative or professional work.
Some participants may have benefits, economic assistance, other income or outside support that makes participation possible. Those resources belong to them. They are not compensation from Loptr Lab, and you do not need to disclose them to participate.
If you need a paycheck from this opportunity, our current participation model cannot meet that need. We will state that before you invest your time.
Contributing does not create employment, ownership, revenue share or a promise of future pay. Those require a separate signed agreement. When we talk about “sweat equity,” we mean effort invested in a shared mission—not a grant of shares or ownership.
One ecosystem, separate choices
Made Sick, PIXIE, DUET, our narrative projects and our training work share this mission. Each project keeps its own purpose, development status, rights and participation boundaries.
Joining one project does not enroll you in another. Sharing feedback does not authorize a testimonial. Discussing illness publicly does not authorize us to republish your personal story. A public link does not establish a partnership or endorsement.
Public GitHub feedback is public from the moment you submit it. Do not put sensitive information there. Any private feedback arrangement must be agreed separately.
You can stop participating at any point. Permission for future use can be withdrawn within the agreed scope. Before anything is published, its removal process and limits must be clear: public copies made by other people may remain beyond our control. We will not present consent as meaningful while hiding those limits.
The mission is permanent
Money keeps the work alive. Accumulating money is not the purpose of the work.
We seek a sustainable way for creative and technical work to support people, with accessibility built into the foundation. Universal basic income is part of the future we want to help make possible.
Funding and partnerships must serve that mission. Growth is not permission to abandon it.
If this succeeds, we leave a working example. If it falls short, we leave a transparent record of what we tried, what worked and what failed so others can carry the work forward.
Contact has boundaries
Use public-facing channels to introduce yourself or express interest. Email is reserved for solicited contact or serious, relevant offers.
One strike: unsolicited sales pitches, harassment or attempts to bypass a closed contact channel end further engagement. Correction, removal and consent-withdrawal requests remain available.
Bring your curiosity, your skills and respect for other people’s boundaries. Contribute only what you can freely choose to give.
